Texas Tech University alum Kirby Holmes, class of 1994, created TechTortillas.com to celebrate the tradition of tossing tortillas at Tech.
Kirby is among several Texas Tech Red Raider students from the early 1990's who have insider information about the origins of the tortilla throwing tradition. With the continuing popularity of throwing tortillas at Texas Tech sporting events Kirby recognized the niche popularity of tortilla themed products.
