About Tech Tortillas
Texas Tech University alum Kirby Holmes, class of 1994, created TechTortillas.com on January 1, 2023 to celebrate the tradition of tossing tortillas at Tech. Kirby believes it is time to start wearing tortilla style fashions to Red Raider football games. The tradition of Texas Tech tortillas is advancing: Wear'em Tech!
Kirby is among several Red Raider students from the early 1990's who have insider information about throwing tortillas at Tech football games. With the ongoing popularity of this tradition at Texas Tech Kirby decided to pivot from this idea with curated tortilla themed fashions for all Tech athletes, alumni, and students. Wear'em Tech!
